Fergal is one of those underground talents that will surely rise to the very top. He is relaxed and yet forthright. He knows what he wants and yet is flexible to try ideas. For example I suggested that Sam Killeen provided some single note broody guitar effects for the outro that represented the eventual release and expression of repressed emotion and frustration that i sensed was the theme of the song. It was contrasting and a scary ending to a song that is expertly bittersweet. Im absolutely blown away by his ability to write this wonderful song with just a groove as inspiration. Also Im so grateful for his proactive energy and skill in directing the video.

Out in Audioland Studios, Side 4 invited a few of the collaborators, that had contributed song ideas during the year, out on the same day. Robbie Malone has been adding groovy, musical bass-lines since the beginning of the project. Jane Willow came out the same day and we sat in the sun and did some acoustic work on her contribution with Robbie's help but also asked her to try a vocal on Fergal's song. A few days later, Sam Killeen came out to progress his musical creation with us and we asked him to contribute to Fergal's track. People have been so kind with their time, courage and talent and everyone gets the whole community vibe that we have created. There has been approx 80 supremely gifted talented musicians that have been involved in track making and layering tracks so far, all attracted by the unique challenge of writing to a folder of grooves. Some gang we are!
